‘In Xanadu did Kubla Khan’ is a week of guided walks, evening talks, performances and a visual arts exhibition, to celebrate the Romantic Poet’s time in West Somerset. There are daytime options to walk the Coleridge Way with Roger Conway, or to explore on foot the Quantock and Exmoor haunts of Coleridge and Wordsworth in the company of neo-Romantic poet (and Coleridge enthusiast!) Ralph Hoyte (pictured above). Evening performances include an illustrated talk and short film by artist and storyteller Frances Harrison, plus Ralph Hoyte’s epic completion of ‘Christabel’, complete with supper (or bring a picnic).
