Jonathan Wordsworth

1932-2006

 

 

We learned with great sadness of Jonathan Wordsworth’s death on 21 June 2006.

 

Jonathan supported The Friends of Coleridge as a Scholar and made several characteristically memorable visits to our events at Alfoxden and Kilve. When The Friends of Coleridge were newly formed, the willingness of a scholar of his standing to associate himself with the enterprise was an invaluable encouragement for us. We take this opportunity to salute him, and send our condolences to his wife Jessica, and their children.
